Reclaim Your Country (RYC) is a movement of millions of Nigerians, students, academics, professionals, entrepreneurs (home and in the diaspora), who share the view that in Nigeria, a country rich in resources, and an important player in African affairs, we will no longer live in poverty; we will no longer accommodate marginalisation, mediocrity, state sponsored terrorism, clueless governance, feeding bottle federalism, and zoning of political power; and we will no longer vote for incompetent, corrupt, looting and occultist politicians and political parties.

Anniversaries usually provide opportunities for celebration, sober reflection on the past and planning for the future. As we celebrate the 57th anniversary, let’s take stock of our achievements and failures during the past 57 years, the challenges still ahead, and the way forward for the full realisation of the dreams of our founding fathers.
Economic, political, military and social marginalization and agitation are powerful conditions at play in Nigeria politics today and if not handled with care and wisdom could plunge the country into serious crisis, hence of great concern to the Reclaim Your Country movement. We believe in a united, economically secure, politically evolving and integrating, and peaceful Nigeria, completely free from political deception, institutionalized corruption, and ethnic bigotry.
